Collagen is an important building block for connective tissue, skin, tendons and much more. Approximately 70% of the dermis is made up of collagen. Collagen treatment

Collagen treatment replenishes the functionality of body’s own natural collagen. Its main component is a purified type 1 collagen, which replicates the entire structure of the collagen fibers in the body.

At the beginning of the treatment the skin will be cleaned and disinfected. Then the collagen solution is injected under the skin with a thin needle at a distance of 2-3 cm and the natural production of collagen is activated. The solution contains anesthetics, so that the patient feels a slight pinch of from the injection.

Blood thinners such as aspirin should be avoided for at least 1 week prior to treatment. The usual skin care is possible after twelve hours. After the treatment the patient should avoid baths, solarium, sauna, sunbathing and massage for three days. For a long-lasting result, 2-4 treatments can be carried out approximately at 2 weeks intervals. The end result of the collagen treatment is visible after approximately 2 to 3 months.
