Baby Face LaseMD is a precise thulium laser treatment which creates small micro channels in the skin without ablating the outer layer of the skin. Through these small channels, the active ingredients (cosmeceuticals) can be applied directly into the deeper skin layers. There they can work much stronger and faster than when treating the upper layers of the skin. The LaseMD can be used on the face, neck, décolleté and hand. Thanks to this laser technology, the above-mentioned skin problems can be treated particularly intensively and effectively. The laser is also very suitable for skin rejuvenation / anti-aging.

How does a Laser Treatment works?

– First, a numbing cream is put on to the skin, which works for about 20 minutes.
– Then the LaseMD laser is applied to the skin.
– Finally, the selected active ingredient (cosmeceutical) is applied to the skin. Depending on the treatment goal, various active ingredients such as Tranexamic acid which is ideal for the treatment of melasma / chloasma and various pigment disorders, Retinoic acid (vitamin A) for the treatment of acne, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) or Resveratrol for anti-aging.

The treatment is nearly painless. Depending on the indication, 3-4 sessions are needed. Slight swelling and redness can occur after treatment. After the treatment, direct sunlight and saunas should be avoided. A sun cream with a sun protection factor of at least 50 is recommended. Patients can return to daily life immediately.
