Thread Lift by experienced Facial Surgeons specialized in the field

Over time, the skin loses important ingredients, collagen and elastin. The first signs of age appear and the skin begins to sag. The result is an aged and tired appearance, which can significantly tarnish the positive overall impression. Many patients then think of a complex facelift, i.e. a major operation that is associated with high costs, among other things.

Thread lifts are a relatively new form of non-surgical face lift. If your face has loosening or sagging skin and you want a tighter, fresher more youthful look, you should seriously consider this treatment. A thread lift can bring very good results, especially if the skin is not too saggy. Thread lifting is a minimally invasive and gentle form of wrinkle treatment. In this treatment method, self-dissolving threads are inserted into the skin tissue in order to smooth and partially lift sagging areas. As a result, the face not only looks fresher and more vital, but also the facial contours can be specifically emphasized.

In contrast to other forms of wrinkle treatments, a thread lift not only tightens the face. The threads used also stimulate the body’s own collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production. Collagen is a protein responsible for the tension and firmness of the skin. Elastin is responsible for skin firmness and elasticity. Hyaluronic Acid causes your skin to rehydrate. Stimulating your own skin’s own production of hyaluronic acid, results in improved skin moisture and less-prominent wrinkles. In this way, a long-term and above all, natural treatment result can be achieved. The face looks permanently rejuvenated and refreshed.

Thread lifting is particularly suitable for treating wrinkles on the face and is used for the following purposes:

Face lifting and necks lifting, e.g. sagging cheek and chin contour, nasolabial folds, drooping corners of the mouth, and wrinkles on the neck or décolleté, double chin
Skin rejuvenation
Plumping up the skin
Reduction of wrinkles
Modeling the face
Tightening of the upper arms

Thread lifting techniques

There are different techniques and types of threads that are used in a thread lift. In addition to tightening the skin, today’s threads also stimulate regenerative processes inside the skin. In this way, a double treatment effect can be achieved. The effect of the thread lifting lasts for up to 2-3 years.

Silhouette Soft Thread Lifting: With the help of these special threads, even greater tightening and activation of the fibroblasts can be achieved. Silhouette Soft® thread lifting, also called French Lift, is a non-surgical facelift with a unique double lifting and regenerating effect. This is made possible by the small cones on the threads, the number of which can vary individually. Typically, this method of wrinkle removal can be done on all patients for better appearance. The duration of the procedure is about 30 minutes, depending on the number of sutures used.

PDO threads Thread Lifting: Using a really fine needle special dissolvable threads made of Polydioxanone (PDO) are injected into the skin, and sometimes the muscle, to tighten the skin. These threads made of polylactic acid are completely absorbed by the body after a while and used to build up volume. Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a special medical grade thread that is thinner than hair, made of protein. Researches have confirmed that PDO improves the blood flow to the area stimulating neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen in the skin) whilst a foreign body reaction. PDO threads are also suitable as light pulling threads, for example for minimally tightening the skin. In this case, they have small weaves that can be used to pull the skin together.
